Before:
After:
Once renamed , the topsecret folder will change to a "My Computer" shortcut and when you try opening it, it doesn't show the contents. It works just like a normal "My Computer" shortcut.
You can rename any folder to any CLSID listed above!
Step 3: The Switch
To make renaming a lot easier, all you have to do is make a bat file.
To make the first switch, (to hide the contents),
Open Notepad and type:
@echo off
ren [folder directory]
\topsecret .{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
exit
and then save as switch1.bat
To make the second switch, (for restoring the folder),
Just simply make another bat file. This time,
@echo off
ren [folder directory]\.{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} topsecret
exit
and then save as switch2.bat
Now you can hide those switches wherever you want! Cool
Note for Beginners: On saving as a bat file, don't forget to select the filetype to "all file types"
Thats it were done!
